Knowledge would be well defined as the acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation qualifying us to fulfil the role”, in a manner that “secures the health and safety” of any person affected by the project.

Cristina Vanella is our Managing Director and responsible person for delivery of services agreed between you and Salubritas Consultants Ltd and will be leading the team’s resources and deliverables for the projects.

 

Below is a summary of Cristina’s Individual knowledge (evidence of the team collective knowledge will be provided to you as part of tender and or contractual agreements).

 

From a background in strategic management, Cristina supports her clients with strategic health, safety and wellbeing knowledge. Her qualifications include but are not limited to:

 

NVQ 5: Cristina holds a City & Guilds accredited ROSPA NVQ 5 Diploma Occupational Health and Safety. According to ROSPA, this vocational safety qualification from City & Guilds recognises a person's competence based on job performance rather than exams. Units of competence contain the national occupational standards for health and safety.

 

NEBOSH: Cristina has achieved the National Construction Certificate. According to NEBOSH, the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is established as a leading health and safety award for the construction industry. It is aimed at Supervisors, Managers and those with a role under the Construction Design and Management regulations 2015 within the construction industry who are required to ensure that activities under their control are undertaken safely. It is likely to prove useful for those concerned with the management of buildings who may need to ensure that contractors are working safely. The qualification is also appropriate for supervisors and managers working in other industries such as utilities, and even broadcasting, where temporary workplaces are a feature of their activities.

 

SMSTS: Cristina obtained the CITB City & Guilds Site Management Safety. According to CITB, the Site Safety Plus course which is for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients, provides the understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites and continues clarifying that BUILDUK recognises this course as meeting the required standard for all supervisors working on BUILDUK sites.

 

Lead Auditor: Cristina is a certified IRCA accredited Lead Auditor in OHSAS 18001:2007 and Lead Auditor in ISO45001, ISO 14001 and ISO9001. According to BSI, this qualification provides the necessary skills to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an occupational health and safety management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001, and in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 where appropriate. So, it does as well for ISO 14001 and ISO9001.

 

Train the trainer: Cristina is a trainer. According to IOSH, this qualification provides trainers with the ability to run exciting and productive courses, develop essential training skills and promote a clear understanding of how to teach effectively leaving the trainer well-equipped to deliver quality training sessions.
